CABERNET Reserve 2020

Aged in new American oak for 8 months this small batch is a shining example of a cool climate Cabernet Franc. Aromas of ripe strawberry and cranberry meet violet, raspberry and plum. Warm notes of toasted oak and caramel add a layer of complexity. The aromas carry to the palate with smooth tannin, bright acidity and a clean finish.

Roasted pork, lasagna (with or without meat), lamb chops with rosemary, gyros.

Additional Info:

Cabernet Franc is an earlier ripening variety that is more acidic and typically a lighter style then its offspring Cabernet Sauvignon (a vine crossing of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc). Winemaker’s Notes:

A stellar example of a cool climate Cabernet Franc! Lots of beautiful fruit on the nose and palate, and floral violet. Toasted oak and sweeter hints of caramel from the oak add a layer of depth.  Only 37 cases produced
