Zesty and fresh, the aromas of sweet citrus jump out of the glass, grapefruit and orange are layered with hints of peach and a subtle minerality. The aromas carry to the palate with a refreshing acidity and elegant finish.
Food Parings: Fish, Poultry, lighter style pastas
Not a widely planted variety, and always fun to see what aromas and flavours are expressed – some years it is very peach forward, other years citrus. This Geisenheim had grapefruit aromas from the fermentation stage – now a little more subtle and balanced by other notes of citrus and fruit.
